Below you can find short overview and show photos from the 13th international conference National Forum on Maintenance 2013, since its zero year organised in the year 2000.
      In spite of economic crisis the number of paricipants does not show there is a crisis in the maintenance sector. OR perhpas the copanies look at maintenance as a remedy to overcome the crisis as maintenance contributes to production quality, reliable and safe peration ot energy saving. There is a need to learn new knowledge and solutions leading to increased equipment effectiveness. That is why the vision of the conference, formulated at ist beginning in 2000: g: “Provide state-of-art information of high professional value and create favourable conditions for exchange of experience among maintenance professionals from Slovakia and abroad “ is ever up-to-date.

      Number of participants at the 13th year was almost the same as at the record year in 2008, in which we had number of 223. This year taken form the aprticipants list we had 222 participants in total, out of which 199 Slovak and 23 foreign - traditionally most of them from the Cezch Reupublic - 17 , Netherlands - 2, Lituania, Hungary, Poland and Austria per 1.
      There were two winners of the "SSU award Maintainer of the Year 2012 - Mr. Ladislav Topolčány, head of techical section at SLOVCEM spol. s r.o. Malacky, for contribution in thea rea of advanced rennovation techologies by use of liquid metals and paint systems, and Ing. Ivan Ševčík, former long-years manageging director of INSEKO, a.s., leading personality in implementation of maintenance informationsystems in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
      For the tenth time "SSU award for master thesis" was awarded; this year it was Ing. Vladimír Gajdoš, graduate from TU Košice, Fakuclty of Mining, Ecology, Management and Geotechnology, Institute of Indutry and Transport Logistics, for the work entitled : "Proposal of maintenance system in Transpetrol, a.s. – PS-1 Budkovce“.
