Below you can find short overview and photos from the fifteenth international conference National Forum on Maitnenance 2015, that took place from 2nd to 3rd June 2015 traditionally in the hotel Patria at Štrbské Pleso.
      The conference became an event bringing together maintenance managers and specialists, leading companies offering services in maintenance, representatives of wide range of industries as well as experts from academic area.

      Importance of the conference has been confirmed by permanently high numebr of domestic and foreign participants. Number of participants in this year was a record during in the whole history since the year 2000 and the lsit of participants reach the number233, out of whichho 191 from Slovakia and 44 forreigners - traditionally most from the Cedh Republic - 29, Germany and Austria by 5 and from Poland 3.

      The conference continued again in the established model of one and half day conference. On the second day afternoon there were accompanying specialised seminars. 40 presentations were on the conference programme, substantial part of them were solutions and products offered by the conference partners. The conference programme can be found in the end of the page.

      Main topic of the conference, based on proposals from the preceding year, was safety and risk in maintenance. SSU supported campaign EU OSHA - healthy workpalces without stress, which was intorduced by representative of National labour inspectorate, Ing. Laurencia Jančurová. Besides her there were 5 more presenation on teh topic with practical solutions. Beginning of the conference was dedicated to general partners of the conference: AREVA, that introduced Online Monitoring of Glass Fiber Reinforced Pipes (GRP) and AREVA Aging Management Platform. Company Klüber Lubrication introduced Repair lubrication of gear transmissions that contributes to life extension without necessity of costy repair.
      During the conference opening SSU gives incentive awards for contributions to maintenance development in Slovakia. From 2003 it is the SSU award "Maintainer of the Year“. In this yeat it was granted to two top maintenane workers: Ing. Peter Gazsi, general manager for production support in the U.S.Steel Košice, s.r.o. and Gejza Kardos, head of the department of RR and CR (Rolls Royce) in eustream, a.s.
      For the twelfth time "SSU award for master thesis" was awarded to Ing. Petronela Virostková, graduate from the SjF, TU Košice, for the diploma work entitled: „Preventive approach in process control“. Supervisor of the thesis was prof. Ing. Hana Pačaiová, PhD.
